HTii (Holmes-Tucker International, Inc.) is seeking an experienced Aircraft Coordinator/Analyst to provide support to several programs at VX-1 at our Lexington Park corporate headquarters adjacent to Naval Air Station Patuxent River.
DUTIES
System Administration
- Configure and operate the database at VX-1.
- Provide on-site administrative support to test operations.
- Collect feedback for database system and process improvement.
- Provide database anomaly analysis and support to ensure availability on a continuous basis.
- Provide database expertise for compiling and extracting data from the database.
Test Operations Support
- Attend program review meetings with OTD/TO during the timeframe in various locations and provide technical reports.
- Assist OTD/TO as required in briefing test/exercise participants, emphasizing the objectives of the event and specific data-gathering requirements for each participant.
- Observe test/exercise events as appropriate with OTD/TO, collect test data, and provide technical reports.
- Attend program review meetings with OTD(s) in various locations and provide asset availability and configuration reports.
- Track aircraft asset utilization for the applicable aircraft and devise optimized planning tools.
Test Analysis and Reporting
- Provide technical comment on changes made to the draft test plan /exercise plan during staffing.
- Perform data reduction and analysis of data to ensure data validity, prior to a more detailed data processing.
- Correlate data using appropriate statistical techniques to analyze operational suitability tests.
- Assist in the development of draft Blue and Gold Sheets and Test Reports in the appropriate COMOPTEVFOR and/or AIRTEVRON ONE format.
Test Planning:
- Experience developing test plans in support of Operational Assessments, Initial Operational Test and Evaluation, and Follow-on Operational Test and Evaluations.
Aircraft Coordinator:
- Initiate non-standard configuration changes as directed by test team leadership per VX1 CM instruction.
- Maintain currency of flight clearance, prototype, and all supporting documentation. Should a technical directive be released to a system covered by a non-standard configuration prototype, that configuration can then come off tracking and be covered by the standard Navy TD system.
- CM - Maintain current and historic hardware and software configurations of all VX1 E2D aircraft systems under test.
- Coordinated test related ground events to include configuration or data collection.
- Act as a maintenance liaison to coordinate test team objectives or bring in outside personnel for configuration changes or mission system troubleshooting.
- Provide customer with periodic currency spread sheet of NON-standard configurations of their assigned BUNO`s. This includes current IFC, prototype info, and specific configuration and pink sheet serial numbers.
- Track PMA funded test flights on VX1 aircraft and submit to operations DEPT for monthly BOR report for reimbursement.
- Review VX-1 flight schedule and flight records.
- Attend weekly customer meetings and other meetings as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6-8 years of experience affiliated with a US military flight program, or similar experience
- Excellent computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- U.S. citizenship
- Minimum of a Secret clearance
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- A background in USN/USMC aviation, experience in operational testing, or hands on experience with Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications are highly desired.

Operator and maintenance manuals
- Familiar with the following tools: TIMS, NAVPASS, Airworthiness, NATEC, Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS), NALCOMIS OOMA, NALCOMIS OOMA CM, NAVSUP One Touch, Microsoft Office
