Description

HTii (Holmes-Tucker International, Inc.) is seeking an experienced System Administrator to provide support at our Lexington Park corporate headquarters adjacent to Naval Air Station Patuxent River. We have been tasked to support a government customer with their application administration and data management tasking. This position is responsible for understanding requirements associated with managing an Integrated Data Environment (IDE) and assisting with development and maintenance of the Information Technology infrastructure, including application support, data backup, security management and user account management.

 

Duties

  • Assists with the day-to-day operation of a government-hosted IDE
  • Establishes and maintains application user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges and security
  • Aids with SAAR-N submissions
  • Researches, analyzes, monitors, troubleshoots and resolves application and data storage problems
  • Assist with application configuration using DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Applications include IBM Rational DOORS, ClearCase, and ClearQuest, No Magic Cameo Systems Modeler and Teamwork Cloud

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science
  • A minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Experience in all areas of local and wide area networks management and administration including system configuration, setup, troubleshooting, planning, designing, implementation, and user support
  • Ability to successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize requests, organize, schedule, and coordinate a variety of activities and projects
  • Ability to learn new software and hardware packages; adapt to changes in technology; work independently and as a team member; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all those contacted during the course of work
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a Secret security clearance. Active Security clearance is a plus.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Qualified member of the Department of the Navy Cyber Workforce
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • Certifications: MCITP, MCTS, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP
  • Microsoft SharePoint administration
  • Linux, Cisco
