HTii (Holmes-Tucker International, Inc.) is seeking a Systems Engineer to assist our customer in development and fielding of Follow on Modernization (FoM) capabilities of the F-35 fleet at the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO) located in Arlington, VA. 

Duties

• Provide systems engineering oversight of the F-35 capabilities during all phases of the Systems Engineering “V”
• Oversee the development and implementation of the unique capabilities for United Kingdom’s (UK) F-35 fleet. 
• Aid in the creation of statements of work (SOW) for FoM capabilities to be bid by the contractor. 
• Ensure integration across the F-35 Air System, to include all product and functional team efforts. 
• Aid the Product Teams and Functional Teams on activities related to resolving FoM design issues across the F-35 development program.
• Facilitate teamwork between the IPTs, Directors, NAVAIR and AFLCMC functional competencies, fleet customers, and contractor organizations to ensure integration of all new hardware and software systems will meet customer expectations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in aviation systems engineering
• At least 4 years of those in a DoD acquisition program
• SECRET/Top Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for SAR

Education

• B.S. Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical degree
