Description

HTii (Holmes-Tucker International, Inc.) is seeking a Air System Software Engineer at the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO) located in Arlington, VA.

 

Duties

  • Provide software engineering support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

 
  • At least 6 years of software engineering experience
  • Experience with the integration of on-board sensors
  • Understanding development and maturation techniques for algorithms and data links
  • Knowledge of weapon functionality and interface and embedded operation software
  • Experience with Object Oriented design and analysis using UML
  • Training in and experience using Earned Value Management
  • SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR programs
Desired Experience
  • Experience with Agile Software Development
  • Experience/familiarity with DevSecOps, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to resolve/solve problems
  • Familiarity with DoD software quality/performance metrics
  • Ability to facilitate team training in use of software analytic tools per Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute methodology/standards
  • Ability to work across JPO and PMs in support of software development & sustainment

Education

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
