HTii (Holmes-Tucker International, Inc.) is seeking a Air System Software Engineer at the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO) located in Arlington, VA.
Duties
- Provide software engineering support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience
- Experience with the integration of on-board sensors
- Understanding development and maturation techniques for algorithms and data links
- Knowledge of weapon functionality and interface and embedded operation software
- Experience with Object Oriented design and analysis using UML
- Training in and experience using Earned Value Management
- SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR programs
- Experience with Agile Software Development
- Experience/familiarity with DevSecOps, JIRA, and Confluence
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to resolve/solve problems
- Familiarity with DoD software quality/performance metrics
- Ability to facilitate team training in use of software analytic tools per Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute methodology/standards
- Ability to work across JPO and PMs in support of software development & sustainment
Education
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
