Description

HTii (Holmes-Tucker International, Inc.) is seeking a Software Engineer to provide support of the software development and maintenance of the Core Level Software and Transport Services on the Mission Computer Alternative (MCA) system located at Patuxent River, MD. This position requires a TOP SECRET clearance.

 

Skills Required:

  • Ability to work with lead, customers, and train junior engineers, ESDPs, and interns
  • Ability to work independently with little guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • Self-starter

 

Required Experience:

  • Thorough understanding of software development practices: configuration management, code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
  • At least 5 years of C++ programming experience
  • Embedded systems experience
  • VxWorks experience

 

Responsibilities and Tasking:

  • Develop software to perform IV&V tests on FACE conformant applications on various hardware configurations and be familiar with implementing software practices for DO-178C DAL A compliance

 

Education

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
