Joint Strike Fighter Reprogramming FMS Systems Engineer

 

HTii (Holmes-Tucker International, Inc.) is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the Reprogramming Foreign Military Sales (FMS) project in the F-35 Joint Reprogramming Enterprise (JRE).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist in artifact reviews for FMS Mission Data (MD) Development efforts.
  • Assist in artifact reviews for materiel solution development efforts that support FMS MD development.
  • Conduct technical oversight of the FMS materiel solution procurement activities.
  • Provide detailed opportunities and risks for the materiel solution procurement activities.
  • Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the systems engineering process for the FMS.
  • Responsible for monitoring technical requirement linkages between operational, program office, and contractor activities.
  • Provide technical action item resolution plans to the program manager.
  • Provide guidance and input to JRE Management on all reprogramming issues, risks, and opportunities.
  • Work with all contractor and government agencies to ensure Reprogramming Lab hardware and software is provided within the schedule, cost and technical baseline.
  • Attend technical/management meetings as requested by JRE Management.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 6 years of experience in an engineering position
  • At least 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering
  • Ability to conduct and evaluate feasibility studies and risk assessments
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to draft clear, concise reports, to maintain effective working relationships, and to provide technical guidance and briefings.
  • Strong oral and writing communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other program offices, other USG and DoD agencies, and senior US and foreign government officials at a variety of venues.
  • SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR

 

Education

B.S. Degree in Engineering
