Description

HTii (Holmes-Tucker International, Inc.) is seeking a Senior Engineer & Technical Consultant for Data Fusion systems and technology programs in the Sensor Fusion Branch of the Radar Systems Division, Avionics, Sensors, & E* Warfare Department located at Patuxent River, MD. This position requires a SECRET clearance.

Required Experience:

  • Relevant professional disciplines such as computer science, applied mathematics, physics, and engineering

  • Broad range of technical disciplines, research, development, and programmatic experience

 

 

Responsibilities and Tasking:

  • Serves as a technical leader and participates in a wide variety of advanced projects, which span the concerns of all Divisions of the Avionics, Sensors, & E* Warfare Department
  • Influences major research, development, testing, evaluation, innovation, and reengineering projects, proposals, and direction throughout the competency
  • Work is characterized by problems for which technical precedents are lacking
  • Solving problems that are highly complex with divergent requirements, requiring innovative solutions drawing from a broad range of technical disciplines, research, development, and programmatic experience
  • Work with other leaders throughout government and industry to advance technology by the application of new theories, techniques, and processes to current and evolving Navy problems
  • Advise major program efforts in extensive analysis, simulation, and avionics hardware development to test and demonstrate critical elements that advance state-of-the-art, and set new precedence for data fusion suites and avionics hardware architectures. Such advances are an essential requirement for improved Data Fusion systems.

 

Education

  • Technical degree (computer science, applied mathematics, physics, or engineering) or equivalent experience
